Battle of the Books Champions at LEMS!

The Battle of the Books is a reading competition where students put their literary knowledge to the test! After reading eight books and preparing for months, teams compete in trivia-style battles to showcase their understanding. The Grand Battle brought fierce competition, and LEMS secured the traveling trophy, now proudly displayed in the library!

Our incredible 8th-grade WEB Leaders are dedicated to helping our 6th graders transition to middle school with confidence! From leading tours of the building to offering guidance and support, these leaders play a key role in making sure our newest Wildcats feel welcome and prepared. They do an amazing job building connections and fostering a positive school community!

On January 30, Human-Animal Bond in Colorado (HABIC) volunteers brought special furry friends to Lucile Erwin Middle School! Sixth-grade students who had just finished a literacy unit about helping dogs got the heartwarming opportunity to read to therapy dogs!
