About Us

Middle school counselors are professional educators with a mental health perspective who understand and respond to the challenges presented by today's diverse student population. Middle school counselors do not work in isolation; rather they are integral to the total educational program. Professional school counselors align with the school's mission to support the academic achievement of all students as they prepare for the ever-changing world of the 21st century. This mission is accomplished through the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, developmental and systematic school counseling program.

Counselors are just one resource out of many that is available if you’re having trouble getting along with someone at school.

School Stuff

Study skills including time management, note-taking, and test-taking skills are just a few tips I can help you with to improve your opportunities for success.

High School Preparation and Career Planning

We want to help you to be ready to accept the challenges and the joys of high school.  What you do NOW will start the path for you to be student you are and we want you to continue to be successful in high school and beyond.

How to See the Counselors

You may fill out a  request form any time between classes, before or after school.  Counselors will call you as soon as they can. Please remember many things come up for us each day and if we’re not available when you come to Student Services, we will see you as quickly as we can.  Of course, you may e-mail us, or visit with us during lunch (we are down in the cafeteria with you every day),  if you have a quick question.
