We go outside (weather permitting), and look at the stars! We will also meet once or twice a month during other parts of the year to see different planets, stars, and other objects. This year, we're going to start having targets, meaning each night I'll give students a couple of challenging things to look for in the sky. We're also planning some special events this year, including nights at the Front Range Community College observatory, and hopefully a night with a local astronomy club coming to us!
November- January: twice a week (tbd).
September, October, February, March, April: 1-2 times a month.
Sign up outside Mr. Shetley's classroom (upstairs, 6th science) or email Mr. Shetley for more info, including meeting times and dates.
