7th Grade Dual Language Students Connect with Pen Pals in Spain

Lucile Erwin’s 7th-grade Dual Spanish students are making global connections through a new Pen Pal Friends activity! Students have begun exchanging letters with peers from a school in Spain, sharing details about their daily lives, school experiences, and personal interests, all while practicing their Spanish communication skills.

This international collaboration is being coordinated by Ms. Aragón, LEMS Advanced Spanish teacher, in partnership with Ms. Gámiz, former Lucile Erwin Social Studies teacher, who now works with the participating school in Spain. This exciting project helps students build language fluency, cultural understanding, and lasting friendships across continents.
