Track and Field Conference Information 2025

It's conference week! We have three meets coming up in the next two weeks. As we come to the end of the season, we just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our athletes and families for all of your support and help in making this season so great! Please see the section for your athlete's meet below as not all athletes will go to every meet. If students are going to 6th or JV conference and are not at practice on Monday, please have them email me event choices as soon as possible.

Sixth Grade Conference will take place at Thompson Valley High School on 4/29 @ 4:15. JV Conference will be at Turner Middle School on 4/30 @ 4:15. Varsity Conference is the following week, 5/7 and 5/8 @ 3:15 at Severance High School. 

As the weather gets warmer please make sure you are sending athletes to practice with water bottles and sunscreen if needed. We are seeing a lot of students come unprepared. We do have one scheduled break per practice so that athletes can use the restroom or refill water. 
 

6th Grade Conference

Our sixth grade athletes, who are not going to varsity conference, will compete at Thompson Valley High School on 4/29. This will be the vast majority of our 6th graders. Athletes will find out if they made varsity on Monday and will sign up for their events then as well. If you need to know before then, please reach out to Ms. Kinney. There is a $5 cash only fee for adults wanting to watch this event. Following the 6th grade conference meet, these athletes will be done with practice. We will hold an end of season celebration for all athletes following Varsity conference. 

JV Conference

Any 7th or 8th grader who is not going to varsity conference, will go to JV Conference on 4/30 @ Turner Middle School. Athletes will find out if they made varsity on Monday and will sign up for their events then as well. If you need to know before then, please reach out to Ms. Kinney. There is a $5 cash only fee for adults wanting to watch this event. Following the JV conference meet, these athletes will be done with practice. We will hold an end of season celebration for all athletes following Varsity conference.

Varsity Conference

Varsity conference is on May 7 and May 8th at Severance High School. Prelims for running events, half of the field events, and 3200 finals will take place on May 7th. May 8th will see the running event finals, relays, and the rest of the field events. See the schedule below for specific events. If athletes place in the top 8 of their prelim events, they will run again the next day. All varsity athletes are invited to both days of conference to cheer and support.
